Statement of the Jury by Philipp Mainzer, founder of E15
«Ruckstuhl’s Stripes carpet collection convinces with its innovative and interesting material quality. The materials chosen and the way they are put together mean that the product can completely reinterpret the floor as a theme, thus offering users a great deal of scope for inspiration. The products in the Stripes series, whose designs involve wood, offer a completely new option in terms of interior decoration. Here the wooden floor is on the carpet and not under it any longer. The constant feature of the design is the stripe, defined by a logical accumulation of different high-quality natural materials. A special tactile experience is support by extremely refined and innovative workmanship.»
